Britain Hart Makes Headlines With Victory and Viral Post-Fight Speech
Britain Hart grabbed the spotlight last week not just for her impressive win over Paige VanZant, but also for her unforgettable post-fight speech that quickly went viral in the combat sports community.
Leading into the BKFC Knucklemania main event, many believed Hart was merely a stepping stone for VanZant’s debut in the Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship. However, Hart shocked critics and fans alike, delivering a gritty performance to outpoint the former UFC star and secure a unanimous decision victory on Friday night.
What stole even more headlines was her fiery post-fight promo where she declared, “I’m not a person; I’m a feeling.” The statement resonated across the combat sports world, sparking widespread discussion.
Adrenaline Fueled the Moment
Reflecting on her post-fight speech, Hart explained that adrenaline played a big role in what she said.
“I’ve told people before—it’s the best way to describe who I am, both as a fighter and a person,” Hart told MMA Fighting. “I’m a fighter, but I’m also a mom, a friend… I’m so many things. But the best way to sum it up is, ‘I’m a f*cking feeling.’”
Hart admits she didn’t realize the impact her words would have.
“It came out a little wild because I had just done 10 minutes of Bare-Knuckle boxing, getting punched in the face. I wasn’t expecting it to blow up the way it did,” she said.
Fair Decision Added to the Celebration
While Hart’s performance seemed convincing to most, there’s always uncertainty when the scorecards are announced—especially with VanZant entering the fight as the favorite. That sense of relief added even more emotion to Hart’s post-fight reaction.
“Of course, I probably overreacted a little,” Hart admitted. “But it was surprising to me that people actually lived up to their word and made a fair decision. It’s not something you can always count on.”
Open to a Rematch
As for a potential rematch with VanZant? Hart welcomes the opportunity, confident she could improve on her first performance and even secure a finish.
“I think I clearly beat her,” Hart said. “Honestly, I feel like I won every round. But if she wanted to do it again, I’m all for it. I’m a company person. If there’s a rematch, I’d fix some things and maybe knock her out this time.”
Britain Hart’s victory and her bold post-fight words have cemented her as a fighter to watch in BKFC. Whether a rematch with VanZant happens or not, Hart’s performance has certainly proven she belongs at the top of the bare-knuckle scene.
